We began the year in August learning about solar energy. The students discovered how powerful the sun is by using the solar cookers to cook their Vienna sausage. They learned that solar is an important source of alternative energy we may be able to utilize better in the future.
Whew, it's hot. Hope we don't cook with the sausages.
