Each year the 3rd graders culminate their marine unit by exploring the ecology of the reef at Ma'ili Point. The children learn to care for the reef as they serve as homes for the many animals that live there.
Here you see the beautiful Spanish Dancer. It's a sea slug named for the way it appears to dance as it swims.
