This site is not really ABOUT me, but I guess it's a good idea if I tell you a bit about myself so you know what I'm about.  So, here's the scoop...

Marital Status: Happily married to Jill.

Hobbies: Triathlons, kayaking, reading, hiking, softball

I moved to Hawaii approximately 4-1/2 years ago and I love it!  Hawaii is the perfect environment for my active lifestyle - the big dilemma some days is whether I want to go hiking in the Ko'olau mountains, kayaking or ocean swimming.

Professional

I'm the Operations Coordinator for the Honolulu office of Stockholm Consulting Group a multi-national technology and business-process consulting firm.

I'm a MCP (NT Workstation, Server & Enterprise) on my way to MCSE certification and a Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) in their Outlook product group.

Additionally I occasionally teach computer classes at Kapi'olani Community College on Oahu and do writing and technical editing for MacMillan Computer Publishers and O'Reilly & Associates.

I also write monthly columns for Windows Server System magazine.

The Hawaii Bicycling League

Hui Wa'a Kaukahi - Ocean Kayaking club.  I've enjoyed the few events I've been able to participate in such as providing some "lifeguard" duties for the Waikiki Roughwater Swim.
