~ Introduction ~
Hi, Welcome to my Homepage... My name is Gary and I'm
originally from Laupahoehoe on the Big Island of Hawaii; I now reside on the island of
Oahu. My current interests are Gardening, Deepsea Fishing, and playing on my PC
(especially chatting with friends on the Internet and working on my Homepage).
In years past, I enjoyed Bow Hunting for wild boar, sheep,
and goats; and I also enjoyed helping my Dad raise "Koi". I was also into the
Martial Arts (Karate), and SCUBA Diving. My underwater activities included Wreck
Diving, Underwater Photography, Shell Collecting, and Spearfishing.
I adopted the handle "Salty Dog" for several reasons; first,
because I was born in the "Year of the Dog"; secondly, because I made a 22 1/2 year
career in the U.S. Navy; and lastly, because during my drinking days, the "Salty
Dog" was my favorite...
