Isiah Stone was recruited from the Navy by the CIA in 1985, and was inducted into the shadowy world of the Delta Green conspiracy a year later, following an episode in the Phillipines involving a lost chapter of the R'lyeh Cult and the ousting of Ferdinand Marcos from political office.

After over a decade of dealing in dirty tricks, black ops, and - with Delta Green - the worst shit this world *and* the next has to offer, Stone is a tired, weary and cynical man, who nevertheless has seen evil for what it is and understands what has to be done to fight it. Whilst many will interpret his actions as callous, extreme, and even immoral, he is in truth a good man who simply realises exactly what is at stake.

In recent years, Stone has been ordered by his CIA superiors to turn his networks of agents towards the end of industrial espionage (all in the national interest, of course), targeting private corporations based in supposedly 'friendly' countries. This shift of focus has on occasion benefitted Delta Green - allowing them to target several foreign corporate bodies experimenting with black technology. Japanese Intelligence, however, still bear a grudge as a consequence of Stone's handling of the 'Airwalker Incident' of 1996.

Stone has been married twice, and still holds a torch for his second wife, Jenna. She is married to his former best friend and lives in Chicago, Illinois. He is a persistent phone pest.
