Gurps Mythos Races: 24 OCT 2002
GURPS Mythos Races is an attempt to categorize Call of Cthulhu "monsters" in terms of GURPS Alien Races rather than the "Horror Bestiary" treatment of GURPS CthulhuPunk. Mythos Races will accurately and comprehensively describe the various Mythos Races in GURPS terms, avoiding deliberate vagueness and ambiguity. It will also provide a framework for interaction between Mythos Magic and GURPS Tech Levels, showcase some of the rich (human) prehistory evidenced in Mythos Literature Mythos Races also presents various "options" that expand or develop each race beyond their traditional boundries, such as the Shan's electromagnetic choiring abilities. And finally, the impact each Race has as a result of interacting with humanity. (i.e. what cults are associated with each Species, adventure seeds, etc)

  • The Fungi From Yuggoth (Mi-Go)

The Machinations of the Mi-Go never cease... GURPS Mythos Races looks at Mi-Go operations as described in Delta Green and Call of Cthulhu and takes their bizarre TL 14 Biotechnology into what GURPS fans might call "HorrorTech."

  • The Insects From Shaggai (Shan)

The degenerate Shan and their decaying slave empire, their human colony and their electromagnetic choiring technology are all described in detail. Featuring a brief synopsis of material from Delta Green : COUNTDOWN and Cthulhu Live: Lost Souls.
