Escape Beyond 2001 1.0 Screen Shot

Isn't it interesting just looking at it?

Once upon a time there was this fox called Starset, the protagonist. She wasn't very punctual considering, the fact that, she was late for school one day. Starset eventually received her pink slip, as the rules and regulations say in Chapter 13. Little did she know that she was going to violate another school/classroom rule by sleeping in class. Well, Starset was sound asleep and she started dreaming about herself wishing in the wishing well, in dreamland. Starset having a good imagination, dreamt that her friends, excellent warriors, were there to see her. Starset's friends being the mighty warriors that they were did not have any adversaries. There was an exception though, Point, the evil wizard with an evil plan. He wanted Starset to give him the power of the wishing well, or else he'll banish her to the lost caves. Starset was unable to call on her friends, the great warriors, so she called on her silly boyfriend to come help. Foxchange, Starset's boyfriend, provoked the evil wizard because he was being brave and was equally threatened by Point too. Having heard the situation, it was up to either Starset or Foxchange to protect the power of the wishing well. This is where your adventure begins...

Escape Beyond 2001 is more of an arcade game, judging by the accumulation of points, instead of an adventure. You get to choose either Starset, the heroin or Foxchange, the male counterpart. Once you've made your decision, you'll guide the character throughout the 75 caves available in your Cave folder (More caves to download at the official Escape Beyond 2001 page). While going through the caves, you'll grab various goodies like the Kiss of Death, Blue Gems, and etc. for example. Using the different colored keys to unlock the corresponding colored doors, you'll face enemies like the Zorin's Toad, Brightie the Brightfire, and etc. for instance. Escape Beyond 2001 host some ingenious puzzles, and the controls are very simple, only arrow keys and a space bar. Therefore, you shouldn't have to worry about pressing the wrong key combinations and it's fun for all ages!
