The much anticipated 2009 Vegas Reunion website is finally on the internet. If you haven't heard, Irene (Creeden'69) Ross and Robert Higa '69 are doing it again on the Strip @ the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas! Click on "2009 Vegas Reunion Website" for the "OFFICAL REUNION ANNOUNCEMENT". Rates/Package and the Registration Form links are on that website. It's DEJA VU!!!
The next "First Wednesday of the Month" is scheduled for June 4, 2008 at "New Nigori" starting at 7pm. "New Nigori" is located at 535 Ward Ave. (Universal Bldg) which was previously called "Ward Room" and before that,"Colors Lounge" and before that, it was "Club Nigori". Yes it seems like Nigori has completed its full circle.
The Kubasaki Boise, Idaho Reunion 2008 website is on the internet which has all the pertinent reunion information plus the "Registration Form". Everyone is invited! The planner/coordinator Sunny Taylor'63-Schwentner said, there will be alot interesting to do during the reunion so check out the reunion website and send in the registration form ASAP. About 25 alumni from the Class of '65 had a mini-reunion weekend of September 21st, 2007 to celebrate their '60th birthday at Nashville. A nonprofit organization, The Ryukyu America Historical Research Society is searching for photos taken during the Battle of Okinawa and postwar period. These photos will be displayed at a photo exhibit in Okinawa which is held primarily to educate and insure that Okinawa`s unfortunate period of its long history is not forgotten.
