KONA HAWAII 6 DX CLUB
The Kona Hawaii DX Club
The Kona Hawaii DX Club was organized in May 2002. The club membership consists of Radio Amateurs in the Kailua-Kona community that have a mutual interest in DXing and Contesting. The clubs callsign, KH6DXC, was applied for and was assigned by the FCC on June 1, 2002. Future plans call for DXpeditions and possible club participation in major contests and of course participation in the annual ARRL Field Day activities. Presently the officers of the club are: President, Stu Johnston, KH7DX and Vice President, Dewey Proietti, NH6M. Our monthly meetings are informal and usually quite enjoyable.
