Welcome to my page. My major interests in my retirement are these:
- Lighthouses, especially those on and near the Gulf of Mexico from
Florida to Texas
- Genealogy and family history
- Writing, especially poetry

does exist for me. I have four successive generations of lighthouse keepers in my Williams pedigree
(1853-1939), and researching those Williamses leads me directly into
genealogy. I am also a sometime poet, and I often use my family as
material. Here are some examples. | LIGHTHOUSES
| | Some of the lighthouses I am interested in, mostly for personal
reasons, are these:
- Cape St. George Lighthouse, in Florida.
- Round Island Lighthouse, in Mississippi.
- New Canal Lighthouse, in Louisiana.
- Crooked River Lighthouse, in Florida

| This is a current
view of New Canal Lighthouse at West End in New Orleans, where I grew
up in the 1930s. As I am fond of saying, growing up in a lighthouse
