I have orders to place, people to call, proposals to read thru, so what am I doing? Procrastinating. More than anything i'd love to hop in my gas-guzzler, head home and crawl into bed. Something about being someplace where no one knows i'm there gives me that sense of peace. Like i'm untouchable. No laundry to wash, no dinner to cook, no books to read aloud. Just me and the covers.
Anyway, since i'm here in real time, i'll figure out something to talk about.
Sofie had her 3 yr check-up on Tues. She's doing well, only rec'd one shot (her last hep A), and is marching up on the charts. She is now a whopping 25% in weight (up from 10%), but remains a measly average of 50th % in height. Average? We thought we'd have a volleyball player on our hands. Oh well, not everyone can be tall.
While at her app't, we decided to measure Max. His weight has remained constant at 50%, but his height increased to 97%. He must be the ball player in the family. His stats come as no surprise since his hands and feet are the same size as Sofie's. Really. And he's only 5" shorter than she, so it's only a matter of time before he passes her up.
We don't have too much planned for the weekend. The jewelry gift show on Sat (which i'll look for a certain Hawaiian something with somebody's name engraved on it), UH Volleyball game Sat night (we'll see how well the kids behave), then Sofie's gymnastics on Sunday. Two storms are supposed to be coming our way, so it may be an soggy weekend.

Max is sick. Something viral since he's just running a fever. Which means I'm the one staying home dealing with a whiney kid. Fun.
Guess I can look at it as catching up on all those reality shows I tivo..
