Today's Sofie's 3rd Birthday and we're cupcaked out! We celebrated with my parents on Monday, so that required goodies, which naturally meant leftovers last night. Then a new batch was purchased today (who has time to bake?) for Sofie's classmates. Her teacher made her a special crown to wear! I'll need to get a pic of her with it on and post it.
I had to run out during lunch today to get her a gift.In reality, the girl doesn't need a thing. However, what's a birthday w/o any presents to open, right? I picked out a travel-sized Magna Doodle which she can take on her trip, and an Easy Bake Oven. I figured since she loves helping me measure out the coffee grounds every morning, baking will be right up her alley. We're still undecided if we'll have a party for her later this month.
Not sure what we're doing for the Birthday Girl's tonight. Max isn't feeling so well at the moment. He managed to throw-up three times today.. with one of them being in the exact same spot Sofie did last week (right outside the front door). But this time I was prepared. When I saw the gag reflex kick in, I tossed half his body over the side of the railing and basically everything landed on the rocks. Wasn't so lucky last week..
Just another day in paradise.
