ALLIANCE OF GREED, WAR OF OBLIVION

A friend, talking between coffee and tobacco, says to me "the problem of the usa is that it does not know who are the enemies..." Understandable. The Empire of the "stripes and turbid stars" cannot see this time the enemy, the frontiers of the war, the when and the where, and hiding itself from the "who", assures to the utmost its places of Power, the military ones, the economic ones, the political ones, leaving defenseless and unprotected its own civil society, the one that affirms to represent, to the point of ordering to shoot down ordinary planes with civilians as passengers, if they go astray from their routes and is suspected, (yes, just suspected that they are been led toward strategic targets inside the country. The same luck that, it is said, did encounter the passengers of the plane destined (suspected) to the White House (White, just like this, with no other colours...).

The logic: "before the terrorists kill innocents, lets kill them first..." "The problem of the Empire is that it does not know who are the enemies...." says my friend. And in the smoke of the tobacco i see, that yes, it is like that, but that the real, profound and naked problem of the Empire is that it does not know who are its friends. It appeals to values and ethics in its preaching, that are only the noise of empty nuts, those very same values are only smoke that cannot cover that, in front to the fact of not knowing who are its friends, appeals to bribery to make the alliance concrete. The alliance of greed.

Some examples?

Pakistan: In exchange for not being what it is, the united states cancels the economical sanctions that imposed to it in 1998, due to its nuclear experiments. Besides, with the support of Washington, the IMF grants this week a loan of 135 millions of dollars to Islamabad....

...Uzbekistan: in exchange for being under its umbrella, expects that the united states will turn loose the former pressure on the matter of human rights....

...Tajikistan: Also will allow the use of airports for the same aim and expecting similar offerings...

...Russia: Mediating for the first time in its support, the usa government of G.W. Bush demanded to the separatist rebels of Chechnya to cut off their bonds with "international terrorist groups"

...Egypt: Expects that its support will be linked to future agreements with Washington to finish the conflict between Israel and Palestina.

...Jordan: The usa senate approved to eliminate the economic barriers that were previously existing....

...Sudan: In exchange for its support, the security counsel of the UN dropped the diplomatic sanctions that were acting on the African country...

...Turkey: Because of its support, it receives 10 thousand millions of us dollars and expects to receive another 9.000 millions more. Israel: The usa gives it 3.000 millions of us dollars as a help...

...China: Links its support with the recovering of Taiwan.... Just this as samples, but there are many more....

Ah!! and the "alive or dead" 25 millions of dollars as reward.......

All this Alliance is being cooked by the puppets, clones and parasites of the Empire, at the same time that they show off the empty name of governors, in states dismantled of their condition of nations, their sovereignty and horizon.

In this way, the alliance is being bought, in cash or in species, and the previous reasons to boycott those countries, suddenly and conveniently cease to be valid.... Countries previously considered as dangerous or as violating the human rights, are now allies, in the war business. Because this is what it is all about, business.

And there is a message hidden there, for all of us, but especially for the children and the youth, innocents, if someone deserves this name, dangerously innocent, the true victims of all this madness of aggression and retaliation between fundamentalists. A message, a twisted teaching that caws: "obey the power, place yourself on the side of authority without questioning its legitimacy (if not its legality...), join us or you are a terrorist, follow the orders, if you can make some profit with this, without caring for how did your heart feel a few days before, do this, and you will be on the side of the 'Good', you will be the 'Good'...."

But the peoples in different places on the globe, of different ethnic groups and classes, very clearly appear as not being in agreement with this, even though they remain unconsulted by their "Managers" (excuse me, "Presidents"...) and do demonstrate and oppose, actively or in silence, Justice and not war the demand, even in the very heart of the Empire itself, where the demonstrators against war and for peace are disappeared from the media and victimized by the nazionalistic patriotism that irradiates from the top of the pyramid with the same power of destruction that the top of the towers falling on their inhabitants.

The bellicist crossroad clearly shows the vital need for the resistance to be multiple and creative, but also firm and illuminating as a lightning of dignity and decision, from all the excluded, from all the we, for the horizon, that is the very step, not to be negotiated, nor be stolen the certainty that the terror only falls to true Justice, that one that is not vertical, that one that is for all, that one that eradicates exploitation, depredation and exploitation, that one that en-sisters and heals us. That one that is Life and not death. It is not this one the one that the Empire searches for.

The Vulture is breeding new squabs. The old squabs, have gone already through the stages of support, glorification, manipulation and discard, after they have been used. But at that moment they were already adult vultures, with all the genius and inspiration of their creators, against whom they seem to fly in an undetectable and inexorable dive, created in the shadows, they are now the shadow itself.

And even though, the Vulture is breeding new squabs. New and sophisticated "intelligence" (a contradiction of terms, an oxymoron...) and strategy of control, aimed of course and as always to the repression of the freedom of expression, that we see in what we do not see in the media, repression of the human rights, the rights of the species and the earth. New squabs will fly their old and decrepit fly soon, over the suffering Blue Planet and her peoples......

Here in Latin America we know about this. We know of the terror that the Power imposes and the Empire inspires. We know of the semantic war that calls subversion, terrorism and anarchy to the dance of the peoples and the undigestibles of all times and lands, the dance that illuminates the horizon in which the Imperial "values" only have a place in the tales that points to the ignorance. Here we know. But we also know in ancient certainty that sometime, as a memory of the tomorrow, Haughtiness and Greed will receive their punishment. This the ancient ones of corn do tell to the children of corn, when the night arrives, and the corn and the children remember....

And remembering, re-cordando, "passing again through the heart" Justice is affirmed, no to war, and there is no place for the temptation of neither of the two wings of the bird of death and its stupid caw and fly.
