TEN COMMANDMENTS of the DIVER
- Thou shalt not dive in harsh conditions, where visibility is not conducive to an enjoyable experience; where surge action will exceed your energy level; where entry and exit are beyond your capabilities.
- Thou shalt not dive when not perfectly fit, if you are not feeling 100% ready; if you are under the influence; or after an uneasy 'night before'.
- Thou shalt not dive deeper than necessary; farther than essential; longer than expedient.
- Thou shalt not dive without certification, for that is folly.
- Thou shalt not dive to rape the reef, for the reef is what you dive to see and enjoy. (Without the reef and its inhabitants, we shalt not dive).
- Thou shalt dive to observe, to view, to visit.
- Thou shalt dive with a buddy, for it is safer, and wiser.
- Thou shalt dive with necessary equipment, for it may save your life.
- Thou shalt dive peacefully, for then you will experience peace; peace of mind; of body; of spirit.
- Thou shalt dive conservatively; taking only pictures.....
........leaving only bubbles.
