Mermaid Treasures/Under the Big Top

I think this mermaid or merman must have considered leaving their watery home for the lure of the circus or carnival seen along the ocean shore.  A black pearl secures this shell to the silver clasp. 11/4 x 11/2".  Three tiny opii with a "flag" of red coral on a purple shell.
