Kili and Wally, rescued as tiny kittens after being dumped in the middle of a busy highway between here and the freeway into Honolulu.
#6, Wally, was the second kitten to be rescued off the road. That's her, below, and asleep to the right, with Leo looking on.
Wally has grown up a chubby girl, although she somehow appears slim and svelt in these photos.

And this is Kili, short for Kahekili, the name of the road both kittens were thrown out into before we drove up and rescued them. Kili appears to have some Siamese in her heritage, which left her with that great crosseyed look. |
