The big day proceeded with a stop at the Savers store
in Kailua, where Meda bought herself a pair of 99¢
earrings, and Ian, well... Our next stop was a romantic lunch at
Tasty Korean BBQ in Kaneohe, tucked between Long's on one
side and the Rent-to-Own on the other side. Our regular
here, shared off one plate, includes four Korean vegetables,
two scoops of rice, and BBQ chicken, along with two large
drinks. We really pull out all the stops. And the fun wasn't over yet! Meda
still had a run through Long's to look forward to. That's
her sneaking out of the store, only to be captured digitally
by the ever-alert reporter. Then it was anniversary dinner down
the street with Chris, Doreen and Sarah Emerson. Pork adobo
over rice, more champagne and frivolity. This was actually a
combined anniversary/birthday bash, since Ian's birthday is
on the 17th. Then the presents, including the chili apron and cat
umbrella.
Once again, what can you say?!
