Welcome to the Buddhist Study Center's Download Page. On this page we plan to make a wealth of audio and video resources available, drawn from our archive of recorded materials amassed during over 33 years of Dharma programs. As a humble beginning, we are making available recordings of important Jodo Shinshu chants, in MP3 format. The chants, Sanbujo, Shoshinge, Sanbutsuge, and Juseige were recorded several years ago by the ministers of the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii. Junirai was recorded by the ministers of the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha Budismo da Terra Pura in Brazil. Introductions, texts, and translations are also provided.

Listening to Internet Audio Files:
Its easy to download and listen to audio over the Internet. To listen, simply click on the file link. Depending on the configuration of your computer, the file should begin to play automatically. A better approach is to save the file onto your hard drive so that you can play it any time. To do this right click on the link and choose "Save Target As... (in Internet Explorer or "Save Link As..." (in Mozilla or Netscape). Then simply save to a folder on your hard drive. Note that relatively large files such as these may take several minutes to download, depending on the speed of your connection or modem.
