Chad Muranaka

Chad is a really cool, modest friend of ours who lives in our townhouse complex. He still has the wiry muscular build and quick reactions of his high school wrestling days, and completed the 1997 Honolulu Marathon in 6:30 (faster than he expected). He works as a computer programmer for TheBus, Oahu's bus system, and has been a programmer in the Islands for awhile now. At work he programs in Clipper and VisualBasic; at home he has Delphi. (He's also part of the Back of da Bus Gang.)

He became an uncle for the first time this past year when his sister and brother-in-law gave birth to their first child. In his spare time, he is treasurer for the Kulalani Village Apartment Owner's Association in Kapolei.
